Bottled 22/03/14. A golden coloured beer with a white bubbly head. Really lovely tropical fruitiness in the nose. Sharp and bitter hops in the mouth. Pale malts as usual. Yer typical Kernel APA. Simcoe can be harsh but OK here. Well brewed.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. Clear pale golden coloured pour with a slight haze and thin lasting white head. Aroma is initially spicy orange citrus, hints of grapefruit and rounded tropical fruits notes. Light pale malt bill. medium sweet citrus fruits, lychee. Finish is tangy firm bitterness, and mineral. Bitterness lingers nicely. Palate is light and refreshing but nice and rounded. Carbonation is perfect. Good Stuff!

lusikka (7834) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 20, 2014
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour (before pouring the yeast in) with a small head. Aroma of strong herbal hoppiness, orange and earth. Flavour is very earthy and herbal bitter with grains, pale malts, dried fruits and earth. After the yeast is poured in the flavour attenuates big time and the graininess gets stronger. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good. 7-3-8-3-15 3.6

Second 330 ml bottle, same batch. No yeastiness. Very fresh and juicy. Much more enjoyable. It’s interesting to experience such differences within the same batch. 8-3-8-3-16 3.8
