The_Osprey (7886) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016
March 2016 - 500ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’The Kernel Pale Ale Simcoe’, 5.4%, consumed within 4 weeks of bottling. Golden yellow, sparkling, slight haze, dense white head. Aroma is straw, pine, honeyish malt sugars, some mango. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is toffee-ish malt, straw, pine, minerally, gooseberry. A bit more malt-led than I expect from Kernel.

Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 18, 2016
Tap at craft beer Pours hazy lite orange with a small soapy white head and minimal lacing. Has that old sweaty gym sock nose that simcoe does but not as bad as some with this hop. Flavors are tropical floral and quite firm bitterness but not abrasive. A decent apa but the worst beer I have had from this company

shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 11, 2016
Keg at Craft Islington. Aroma is orange lemon pineapple squash. Taste is a bit more malty, quite a bit of barley. Little bit of lemon sherbert at the end. Not my favourite kernel, but hell, they’re always nice.

MarkoNm (2705) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 14, 2015
Pours a hazy pale golden color, topped with a decent and semi-lasting white head. Mild fruity hops aroma, some pine notes as well, a hint of caramel. Taste starts with a hint of sweetness, fruity, followed by a medium hoppy bitterness, and a short herbal aftertaste. Pretty nice.
