Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy golden with a rough white head. Fruity nose, subtle citrus. Medium body, low carbonation, very dry hops that aren’t ll that crisp and fresh - there’s a metallic edge there as well. Bitter finish. 311011

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2011 Bright orange amber pour, small white head vanishes completely. Big bitter grapefruit/orange peel nose. Juicy palate, surprisingly fizzy, lots of tropical fruit, orange peel and zesty hops. Surprisingly restrained bitter finish. Refreshing zingy carbonation. Lovely. [500ml bottle, Drinkmonger Edinburgh] Pours hazy golden orange, decent white head. Fresh, grapefruity, melon aroma. Bitter grapefruit at first on the palate, which leads into less sharp citrus on the aftertaste. Extremely drinkable, the aftertaste thins out, but only because it’s a pale ale rather than an IPA. Dry, pithy finish. Another great beer from Kernel DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 5, 2012 Bottle FROM Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Smells great - a leafy orange fruit hop. That is the taste also. Mouthfeel IS good, though depth is not massive, but THEN again, this is APA, not IPA. Delicious - love the Centennial. I’m sure I also love Super Alpha, but don’t recognise IT yet. In summary, yes. (Orig rating 7th Oct ’11, re-rate 5/5/12. Even more delicious than previously thought. Needs a higher mark. Originally 3.9, now 4.2) brownyonder (266) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 2, 2011
