Bottle from Oddbins. It pours hazy pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, peaches & cream, bread and floral notes.. The taste is crisp, drying, grassy, chive, floral, stone fruits, citrus peel, minerals, straw and spice with a dry, grassy finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Taste is a bit muted and perhaps too drying. OK APA, but a bit sub standard for Kernel. Jimbo2 (559) - DENMARK - APR 10, 2017
Great, fairly dry, good bitter pale ale. Medium body and carbonation. Not super fruity, which can be a nice change. Leighton (23092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2017
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Great aroma, a little dank hop, semi-ripe citrus, pale bread, mango. Light sweet flavour with low bitterness, some lime, papaya, tangerine, a little pine. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish with dry pale bread, more mango, melon, pine, lime, tangerine, papaya. A little pithy dryness. Great stuff. Desverger (14037) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2017

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts. Hops are bitterish, pithy bitter. Smooth floralness and a little candy fruits. Light orange peel. Semi dry finish. Bitter linger. Decent but I’m glad I have another, might need to drop a bit.

Much smoother, lost it’s pithy greenness, now smooth floral and pine with those great Sticklebract candy fruits. Mild bitterness. Very nice.
Appearance- golden and hazy, amber hue, a small foamy white head. Aroma- caramel, bready malt, pineapple, hops, tropical fruit. Taste- bitter hops, pineapple, fruit juice, grapefruit, lemon, subtle grassy hops. Juicy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Well-crafted. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 2, 2017
33cl bottle picked up via Beer Merchants. It pours a hazed bright golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is bready biscuity lightly grainy and grassy dry. Taste is also quite dry and grainy, grassy, with soft citrus peel and a dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, Kernel is not on a cycle peak at the moment for sure olio (10750) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2017
33 cl bottle. Bottled on 21.01.2017. BBE 21.05.2017.tiong (7823) - Espoo, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2017
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Hoppy aroma, mandarin notes, lemonade, pale malts and piney tones. Flavor is fruity, bitter, slightly grassy, citric, a bit sweet juicy finish. Quite interesting hop profile, not too fond of the flavor though.
330ml bottle. Bottled 26.01.17. Pours slightly hazy orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma of chewy juicy fruitiness, hints of herbal notes, grass, pine and citrus. Taste is fresh, chewy fruity and tropical with some hints of pine, citrus and candy notes. Finish is a bit stuffy, fruity and citrusy with hints of honey melon and candy. A bit unbalanced, and quite untypical hop profile here. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of honey melon, sea water and floral notes. Flavour of crisp citrusy bitterness, heavy herbal notes, honey melon and mint candy. Medium bodied. Long lingering bitter finish. Rather dry. Not my favourite hop profile.
