33cl shared bottle @ home from De Molen, 7 month expired :). Hazy pale yellow color, very big fizzy white mostly lasting excellent lacing head, full with yeast on the bottom. Aroma tropical fruit, citrus and liquid sorethroat medicine in the nose, more medicine, qrapefruit, tons of quinine, lemon peal, fully hoppy. Taste light sweetness, heavy medicine bitterness, medium acidic. Full body, sticky texture, average carbonation, very long lasting quinine bitter finish. A bit too much of the bitterness but interesting and extreme. Not sure that is should be like this as it is very long after expire date. Christian (13923) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2014
At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Fruity hop aroma with tropical fruit and citrus. Sweetish tropical fruit dominated flavour with a touch of spice in the finish Beerhunter111 (23256) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2014

Bottle from brewery. Colour is the standard/classic Kernel pale ale lightly hazed ale amber, with a medium attractive light fluffy foam head. Nose is citrus lemon, orange and grapefruit, light pine and quite a bit of spice. Can pick out some clove. Also some green plant/leaf/cut stems in there too. Taste is light bread and biscuit malt, light grain, citrus bitter hop, grapefruit pithy, lime, pine tangy. Soft on the palate, light in body but punchy in citrous flavours. Lingering pine and menthol hop on the finish. gunnfryd (15482) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 18, 2014

Bottled 25/01/14. A light golden coloured beer with a white head. Tropical fruits in the mouth. Verging on delicate for The Kernel. Good balancing pale malts. Nice bitterness. Tasty. A late sting. The aroma is on the sharp side. Nice of course. JohnRMurdoch (5143) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 29, 2013
500ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Yellow amber, not much head. Cereal hop aroma. Unusual leafy herby hop flavour. Citrus aftertaste. Quite a bitter leafy pale ale.
