50cl bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, drunk at home. Hazy cloudy pale gold with thick off white head. Aroma of peaches, nectarines and passion fruit. The most tropical fruit aroma of any beer I’ve ever had. Fullish in mouth where some wheat beers can be a bit lax. Some good bitterness. The tropical flavours continue but not quite as much as on aroma, but there is a passionfruit couli not that runs throughout. Bitterness builds on the finish. That really is a rather gorgeous beer. Really good. It had to follow an aged Orval and it worked so damn well. Something a little lacking in the body somewhere, but just a damn lovely beer and I love the fruit. planky84 (3263) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2012
Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pale orange pour with a white head. Tangerine, orange peel and a little lemon aroma. Tangy citrus flavour with a sharp hop tingle. Long hop finish . AshtonMcCobb (6615) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2012
50cl bottle. Pours hazy golden with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has grapefruit and pine. The taste has just grapefruit really. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy middle and a slightly too bitter finish. Overall, not bad. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 22, 2012
Bottle at home. Clear blond colour, small white head that fades quite quickly. Aroma is grassy, citrussy hops. Bit of lemon and orange, wheat lingering in the background somewhere. Little bit twiggy too. Taste is much less forthright. Initial bitterness but soon fades to wheatiness. Maybe a bit of orange in there too. Quite different from other Kernels I have had with regards to taste. There is almost a lingering sweetness at the end, especially after adding the sediment. Quite a strange one but pretty nice. Definitely unlike other wheat ales I know. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 20, 2012

Bottle from City Beverage Company, Old Street. It pours cloudy gold, with medium white head. The nose is orangey citrus, grapefruit, grass, mild wheat and dough. The taste is zesty citrus, grapefruit, soap, straw, grass and light wheat with a dry, citric finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Decent stuff all round. Tap at the Craft Beer Co - 11/08/12.
Cloudy amber/yellow in colour.
Orange and grapefruit dominate the nose.
Similar citrus fruit in the taste allied to a little grass and the wheat comes through.
Medium bodied and fairly low carbonation with a crisp refreshing citrus finish. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 14, 2012
Bottle. Hazy Orange with a thick White head. Great nose - Orangey Passionfruit hops. Flavour is sweet with more of that Orangey tang. It’s a good Wheat Ale with a good level of hops, a style I like. I’d welcome more of these very hoppy wheat ales on the market.
