Bottle at Kernel. It pours pale yellow with a minimal white head. The nose is wood, vanilla, toasted coconut, lemon curd, light mustiness and grape. The taste is mildly acidic, wood, grainy, grape skin, lemon, good deal of bitterness and wood with a dry, faintly citric finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Interesting and rather tasty. Nice. madmitch76 (26440) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2013

Light haze on this gold beer. Good white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light thin malt base. Nice mix of orange, orange pith and peel well balanced with white wine that is fruity and slightly bitter. Whisper of wood. Finishes light and crisp with a citric and wine linger. Refreshing and very tasty.
Sampled at The Kernel. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a fine, foamy head. Nose has some tangy fruits, straw, pale wood. Light sweet flavor with a but of dry dough, faint crunchy grains, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry to finish with bitter wood, pale grains, mild tannic dryness, some tangy citrus. Fairly tasty and interesting.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow with almost no head. Smells like a glass of white wine! The base beer has clearly picked up a lot from whichever barrel it was in. Taste is only lightly bitter, with a residual sweetness. Light bodied, and little thin, but interesting.
