Hazy gold amber beer, decent white head. Light crisp palate. Tangy sweetish malt, a little floral. The malt gets creamier. A trace of peach syrup and then pleasing orange - tangerine citrus. Semi dry finish with mild bitterness. Seductive and quite moorish.

Leighton (21232) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2012
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours a faintly hazy yellow-gold with a soft, white foam head. Big doughy and yeasty aroma with hints of anise and banana. Medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted dough, some dry citrus rind, light grassy bitterness, modest yeast. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, light sweet finish with further dry yeast notes, light toasty dough, lemon rind, light grass, light citrus tang. It’s very decent, just seems a bit conflicted between being a Kernel APA and a saison. Still, it’s really nice.
