Bottle at home ... hazy yellow amber ... thin white head ... GUSHED ... soft lemon herbal hop nose ... juicy herbal front ... light lemon ... quite drying for me .. but ok jackl (8425) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 27, 2011
Wonderful, riotous head. Does anyone know carbonation better than The Kernel? This beer has a light, woody body that leaves a lingering peppery taste in the mouth. Good, but The Kernel’s done much better. Benjii (3050) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 19, 2011
Bottle from the brewery, thanks Sev! This ones a gusher. Pours a hazy golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, orange rind, candy sugar and caramel. Similar flavours with a chewy mouth-feel. White pepper and a little coconut in the finish. Not bad, a little bitter also. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2011
Draught at CASK Pub & Kitchen Pre-GBBF Meet the brewer event, London. Hazy orange color. Sweetish aroma and flavor with grapefruit, orange, plenty of clove, pepper, tart fruitiness and hay. Full body. Not bad, but I would prefer this dryer and less filling.
