Keg at CPK, Kernel event. Fruity honey lemon nose, some spice. Deep gold, tending towards orange. No head by the time I got it. Spicy, yeasty, nice fruit, some esters, decent peppery hops. Nice and rather authentic saison. Travlr (25746) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Draft at the brewery. Cloudy orange golden color, huge white ice cream cone head. Aroma of orange peel and farmhouse funk. Taste has subtle citrus, straw. Nice example of the style. phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - JUL 29, 2011
Bottle 33 cl from Kris Wines. Pours vibrant unclear light amber orange with a nive small white head. Aroma is all in on oranges and tangerines, orange zest, grassy EU hops, yeasty esters and a bit of the saison ruralness. Amazing smell, just what a saison should smell like. Taste is a bit more harsh, the yeasty esters play a bigger part, still huge amounts of orange and tangerine, hayish malts, stille the rural quality. Really fucking tasty. Insanely smooth. Stands out as one of the best saisons I’ve ever had. RasmusOtt (2841) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2011
Pours hazy amber with off white head. Aroma is blasting summerly fresh with sweet oranges, tangerine, clementin, lemon peel, saison yeast is there, hops and grassy notes. Taste add some more hoppy notes, yeast comes a bit more through, citrus fruits are still very dominating. Excellent Saison.. Bottle from the Bottle shop, Good Shed, Canterbury, Kent 16th July 2011 consumed 22nd July 2011 Pours gold with white head, some powdery sediment comes through with my pour. Nice light furriness on tongue, some soft apricot skins and a sunny day. Touch of sweetness, furriness again darts across the tongue, lovely nose, soft and just lovely with a little funkiness. Great stuff. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Hazy orange gold colour with lasting off white head. Belgian yeast saisony aroma but full instead of a little thin like some can be. Good fullness in the mouth too. Good saison that almost becomes a Belgian ale due to the fullness of the malt. Good estery yeasty finish. Good character to this beer. Hazy orange-amber beer. Good off white head. Nice saison - orange nose. Light palate, crispy and fairly dry without going too far. Taste follows the nose with subtle additional fruits of peach and tangerine and a whisper of pineapple. Smooth malt just after the mid and then good bitterness kicks in. Grapefruit and blood orange. Dry finish with a carbonated bite. Nice fruity saison! Go do an Impy version Nate!

A bottle in the Old Fountain. Lost a lot of the fruitiness now and leaves a dry crisp saison with a little hop bitterness, probably more like what was intended but I kinda miss those fruity notes!
Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Plenty of Belgian yeast on the nose, slight floral notes. Light to medium sweet flavor, with nice and fruity bubblegum, yeasty with hints of grass. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Mild warmth in the finish, some bread and yeast, light caramel, touches of grass, a little bit of earth but not much, hints of estery fruit. Very smooth for the ABV. Really nice. UPDATED: JUL 29, 2011 Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours orange-yellow, with a thin foamy white head and moderate carbonation. The nose is very fruity: orange, mango and banana. The taste is banana, mango, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, pine, hay, ginger and green vegetables, with a dry finish. No real trace of the 7% alcohol. I really wasn’t expecting this to be so fruity. A very tasty fruity saison. Nice one.
