Bottle. Deep golden color with small white ring. Aroma is banana, ginger, juniper, a bit oxidized. Taste is banana cream, just a touch of ginger, a touch oxidized, some fruits, juniper. Low carbonation. Very interesting!

0,5l Flasche. Abgang recht flach. Die Gewürze bleiben aber auf der Zunge.

50cl bottle from Oedipus Brewery & Taproom, enjoyed on 14-Apr-2017. Slightly hazy golden amber colour with a medium sized white head which dissipates quickly but leaving decent lacing down the glass. Aroma is a little funky - vegetables, wheat, malt and spices. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is spicy and herbal. Ginger, juniper and hops prominent. An interesting spiced witbier.

05-03-17 // 500ml bottle. Hazy dark golden beer with foamy white head. Interesting taste as it is a spicy wheatbeer with some ginger and herbal notes along with some lemony tocuhes and also hints of sour nuances.

Pity that it was recomended to me as sour beer, but the only sour aspect is aroma - it kinda reminds Belgian beers - toilety, a bit like fermented/salted cucumbers, a bit brettanomyces, funky barnyard. Flavor is totally ruined like unbalanced mix of everything, sweetish although overall with hints of juniper and gingery savoury. I was not able to drink whole bottle, too messy flavor. Poured light brown, unclear with not much foam.

Bottle 0.5l at home Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 27.09.2016. Pour it hazy orange color with medium white head. Aroma sweet fruity, syrup kind. Taste starts wit light wheat, juniper berries on the back, syrupy in the middle, nice pinch of sourness at the end, nice balanced, good expirement, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish.

Cloudy amber color with specks of fish food. Has to work to pour a small diminishing off-white head on this one. Scents of wheat, light apple, pineapple and mild yeast. First sip was quite startling. Quite sweet. Light fruit and bananas. Mild citrus and hint of apple cider vinegar. Dull feel. This might have been really good in 1831 or perhaps it was lost for a reason.

Unusual. Yellow with a small head and low carbonation. A bit sweet with a thin body. Flavor is of minerals, something medicinal, yeast and brettanomyces. Not bad, unusual but also not very pleasant. Some experiments should be done once.....
