A grainy aroma, pours a clear pale gold color with a white well laced head. A pleasant grain taste with a light to medium body with a mild grain finish.

Thanks Andrew! Love the club scene, lets get ready to roll and pump our fists clear bottle. Fortunately, no hops to break down in this beer. Also fortunately, I was drinking a bunch of other good beers. In between those good beers this was not horrible and made me want to PARTY!!!!!!!

Dominica!!!! Thanks andrew. Not sure what it looks like because it’s getting dark. Tastes like a pale lager country tick - my favorite kind of pale lager.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle poured at the most American restaurant I?ve found in the DR. Outback. The black label, unlike the one in the picture on ratebeer, says "make tonight the one" in the same font Jack in the Box uses for there late night munchie meal. Now that I have referenced both Outback steakhouse and JITB in the same rating, I can get to the less interesting details. Pours a glowing yellow color with a soft pillow head. Light grains aroma. Probably the smoothest and most pleasant tasting of all the local lagers. Body a little on the creamy side, but drinks very nicely. Hints of lemon. If this is the last Dominican beer i find, I feel like I ended my quest on the best possible note.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Probably the best beer of the macros in Dominican, of the monopoly of the whole presidente bastards. Some sense of malt. Some sense of pilsener type stuff. Had a bottle of "the one" in a corner colmado in Santo Domingo listening to salsa. Vibez bruvas.. Extra point for the awesome bottle.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2016 Het goedkoopste bier in de Dominicaanse, maar eigenlijk niet slecht. Niet zoals Bohemia of Black, maar een goeie dorstlesser

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Looks a verty strong yellow. Another ho-hum Dominican lager. A slight crispness, not really funky but not much else here either.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Yellow with a white head. Lacking much aroma. Light grain and a bit of citrus. Light, well carbonated, body. Flavor is also lacking but in the hot Dominican sun that works as an advantage. The ubiqutous Presidente is OK when near freezing and pretty terrible when a bit warmer. I prefer The One if they are my only options.
