Beer Pharoah (1) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2004 does not count
This is a refreshing though malty beer best imbibed icy cold, because as it loses its chill, it gains in sweetness. Best enjoyed before eating to appreciate flavour. Not really light enough to accompany food. A meal in itself. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2006
Hazy, dull straw coloured body with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention and good lacing. Grapefruit on the aroma. Lovely balanced sweet alcohol in the taste, yeasty, spice, grapefruit, green apples, medium body and easily drinkable. jannek (46) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 28, 2009
Bottle 33 cl from Ipercoop. Label says ΗΨ not HY, brewery website says HY, bizarre. Copper with big fluffy head and lacing. Plenty of fruit and some toffee in the nose. Somewhat sweet, which balances the alcohol quite nicely, and gives some fullness to the body that otherwise might be lacking. Bitterness is quite low. fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2010

Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, bread notes, moderate yeasty, dark berry - fruity, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Medium beige head. Deep dark red hazy body. Fruity spicy cinnamon aroma with buttery caramel and paper notes. Dry-sweet raisiny spicy cinnamon taste with peppery gingery notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy, sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-sweet caramelly spicy raisiny cinnamon aftertaste with nutty buttery honey notes. Nice, drinkable, and probably lethal. (0.75l bottle, Systembolaget, Stockholm.)

Pours deep ruby red with a brown chestnut edge. Small, creamy, off-white head. Lovely fruity and malty aroma, red currants, peach, strawberry, vinious, some bit of port. Lowish carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious, strawberries, caramel, red currants. Belgian sugar aplenty. Fine beer.
750ml Bottle - Amber/copper with a slight haze. Dried fruit, earthy hops, nuts and blackcurrant in the aroma. Tangy, fruity and moderately hoppy taste with notes of sweet sultanas, caramel and spicy malt. jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a clear medium brown with no life. The aroma is sweet yeast and tropical fruit. The flavour is medium sweet with a treacle toffee caramel yeast alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.Sweet oily mouthfeel. A little too sweet for me. (Bottle) Nut brown colour, slightly hazy, with brief frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, dark fruit, prunes, raisins, dark bread, brown sugar and a slight touch of oxidization. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, prunes, raisins, brown sugar, caramel, crisp-bread, chestnut honey, chocolate, a touch of ripe banana and a sweet finish with fairly low bitterness and a warming touch of alcohol. Almost full body, well rounded with alcohol in the background. Fairly sweet. A bit one dimensional, but tasty and quite nice. lello4ever (990) - ITALY - DEC 3, 2016
Birra decisamente dolce, ambra scuro, aroma di caramello, che prevale netto al palato, note di dar fruits. Viscosa con alcol in bella evidenza.
