COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our tribute to Willie...Shotgun Willie IPAs aromas of cantaloupe and gooseberry come directly from New Zealands Nelson Sauvin Hops. Rye and wheat contribute to a distinct dry grain flavor. Pouring pale straw in color with full hop character, this is unlike any IPA youve had before.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of stinky sweaty armpit hops, rye, citrus. Flavor is more citrusy, fruity, with plenty of hop oils, grassy hops, garlicky hops and stinky hops in the finish. Excellent rye IPA, light on the rye though. 8/4/8/4/16 (4/5)

Location: Cask at the Brewpub, 9/20/13, IPA Rating #350

Aroma: The aroma is a nice mix of fruity and resiny hops with rye bread and grainy malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a small head and minimal lace
Flavor: It has a nice rye and hop flavor, similar to the nose, with a clean, bitter finish
Palate: The body is clean and drinkable, and the smooth cask feel plays well on this beer
Overall Impression: It is pretty unsurprising at this point, but I thought this was tasty. This one is clean and easy drinking, and it has a smooth feel. I liked it quite a bit.

tap at Alewife - I love the spicy, almost minty, rye kick on this. Sweet caramel and grainy with a nice, brightly hoppy finish and dry.
