Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, smoke - salami. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, alcohol, roasted, chocolate, smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120929]

33 cl bottle, thanks to Ungstrup. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge off white to tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, toffee mal, light yeasty and light smoked. Sweet, caramelish and smoked. Toasted malty and light citric. Bitter and slight herbal finish.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2 (warm up tasting in Jan & Charlotte’s room). Clear dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Light dry palate, a little crisp. Mild creamy malt, a touch of roast. Very mild smoke. Whispers of esters and dried fruits, Smooth dry finish. All right.
