COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden sour aged in oak barrels and dry-hopped with mosaic, citra, and columbus. The Rare Barrel brought the golden sour, and Cellarmaker brought the perfect hop combination. The bright acidity of the golden sour complements the juicy tropical fruitiness from the blend of hops.

The beer is a light, bright golden color. Small white head. Some lacing. Somewhat hazy. The aroma is full of fruity hops and pleasant sour flavor. Moderate lacto with some oak. Nice mix of hop flavors, tropical and citrus fruit. Mango, pineapple, tangerine, kiwi, orange. Quite nice. Moderately tart. Easy to drink. Light body with some effervescence. Lots of excellent hop fruitiness comes through in the taste. Very good stuff.

Draft at the brewery taproom, shared with my RBWG roomies & others. Pours clear gold with a light, foamy white head. The nose has some tangy citrus, light hop presence, melon, mango, orange. Light sweet flavour with good citrusy twang, more lemon, tangerine, orange, light pine. Light in body with average carbonation. Tart lemon in the finish, some further melon and orange, moderate acidic bite. Solid.

Keg at the brewery, 29/01/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off White covering. Nose is pissy citric shreds, hopped overlay, sharp red grapefruit, funk, wood must. Taste comprises lemon rind, tangy blood orange, light balsa wood, funk, sharp citric tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a puckering flicker and earthy hop ride. Decent hopped up sour.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear copper colored body and minimal head. The aroma offers up a spicy note, acidic lemon/lime and a bit of vinegar. The taste hits pretty sour and acidic with lemon and lime rolling quickly into soft thin vinegar notes. Pretty refreshing and luckily not painfully over the top crushed aspirin puckeryness.

Draft at The Rare Barrel. Pours a clear gold color with a small white ring. The dry hopping is immediately apparent here, giving it a dill-like note atop vinegar, lemon, lime, cheesy funk, oak, and muddled tropical fruits. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a tart, briny, spicy mouthfeel. The dry hopping does it no favors in my view. Has a sort of dill-heavy homemade pickle character.

On tap @ Rare Barrel. Hazed yellow/golden beer with a white head. Intense pineapple, citrus, passion fruit, and green melon going on here. Lots of tangy, slightly funky grape, to. Subtle bitterness of oak and leafy hops along with the acidity and sourness works out well for me, actually. Good fruity character that provides a slight sweetness of stone fruits as well as some sweeter tropical notes. Very light funk. Tons of citrus. Good stuff.

Growler thanks to Will. Pours a clear gold with no head. The aroma is strong tropical fruit, dank, oak. Thin mouth, juicy, tangerine, mango, very sour, low acidity, crushable, really enjoyed this.

Draught at Rare Barrel. Almost clear golden liquid with small white head. Aroma of lemon, fresh hops, citrus, red apple skin and tangerine. Taste is dry and light to medium sour with notes of tangerine, gin, lemon and light grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice!
