750 mL bottle poured, enjoyed as part of a blind barrel aged beers tasting. First sip, this was instantly a memorable one from this tasting. Delicious. It might help that this beer broke a streak of imperial stouts in the blind, so the refreshment was certainly highlighted. A clean pale golden pour, dry front. Soft bready like grains, that sit under a refreshing orange fruit sour constant. I would guess a white wine barrel with this. An incredible sour here for sure. Loved it. After reveal, I was of course stoked to try this beer for one, and also, can't figure out how I didn't notice the apricots before. Certainly obvious now. Delicious sour. Cool to compare notes from this beer to the Map of the Sun.

Shared at a get together at ebone1988’s house with Matt and Jennifer on July 08. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a light golden straw color with a thin head that dissipates quickly without any lace. The aroma is full of juicy apricot and a sour fruit skin up front. There is a nice funkiness and a hint of citrus sourness that isn’t too shabby either. Light oak and a hint of funk bring up the back end. The flavor is spectacular. The bright juicy tart and sour apricots with a light oak and a hint of funkiness. The sourness brings a light citrus and just balances out beautifully. The mouth feel is crisp and light with a bright carbonation and a lingeringly tart and delicate apricot with a touch of sour citrus and a beautiful juiciness on the back end. This is fucking awesome. Got damn. 8 4 9 5 17

Fresh bottle, starting to learn that these beers fade faster than heady topper. Light and tart (vinegar). Finish is all tartness, taste is your typical grassy barny flavors. Some grains and minerals in the taste. Carb ties in with the tartness.
