@RBB 2014 Strawberry and oaky funk come through nicely. A unique fruit for a sour done to elegant near perfection. Would love this to be made again.

Bottle at RBBest. Aroma is strong strawberry with a touch of barrel. Body is nicely sour, round and soft. Shortish palate, but extremely balanced. Very nice.

750ml bottle pours hazy dark reddish brown with small head. Nose and taste have nice strawberry, fruit is expressed well and fairly cleanly, small bits of funk, light oaky vanilla, some faint vinegar, toasted malt, grain, berry. A well executed strawberry wild which is not easy to do, but also very straightforward, by the numbers, and lacking some personality as seems to be the Rare Barrel way.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours hazy and deep amber with hundreds of floaties tooling about, and a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet is tantalizingly fruity - damp, fallen oak, citric and lactic acidity with tons of ripe, sweet and tart strawberries. Medium-bodied and super creamy with soft carbonation. The flavor is acutely sour and fruity, featuring under-ripe strawberries, flanked by a lengthy, ber tart, strawberry finish. Big-time thanks to 50 belair for sharing this world-class gem!

Orange-amber pour with a white head. The aroma has some strawberry notes plus a good bit of funk and some dry tobacco. The flavor is quite a bit different. I still get some juicy strawberry notes but the funk is gone and replaced by a light bit of tartness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice fruit beer.

Bottle shared by dreadnaught33. Thanks Yanik! Hazy copper brown body with a small off-white collar. Aromas of strawberries and lacto. Super sour strawberry pour. See what I did there? Im a poet and I didnt even realize it. Anyhow, this is tasty.

Small, fast gone head over hazy orange-amber beer. Red fruit, vinous, lactic acid, wood. Sour, lactic taste with a mild strawberry flavour. Wood, vanilla, oak. Light body, acidburn, long-lasting sour-fruity flavour. Unbelievably good, the description does not reflect its true value.

Pours a deep gold color with a nice white head. Good hit of strawberry up front, nice lactic sourness. Nothing crazy sour, but tasty. The oak is mild but offers up some nice hints of vanilla. Good beer.
