The aroma and flavor have typical sour red/brown character, tart dark fruit and cherries, some caramel sweetness, a little toasted malt on the nose, not overly sour, very drinkable, very enjoyable. Bottle at the DC Expanded Sour Tasting. Poured a dark ruby red, brown color with a small white head. Aroma was heavy cherry, some balasamic vinegar, oak, some woody vanilla notes. Bottle thanks to William. Pours a muddy brown with no head. The aroma is strong cherry skin and oak. Thin mouth with strong oak tannin, cherry skin, nice sourness, very impressive.
