COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This collaboration is a dark sour beer aged in oak barrels with sour cherries. 50% of this beer is a black Brett bruxellensis beer (which was also usend in Ensorcelled, our dark sour with raspberries) and the other 50% is from batch #2, a golden sour fermented with Brett lambicus and Lactobacillus debrueckii. This beer is assertively sour and decadent, with notes of dark chocolate and cherries. Collaboration with Pete’s Wicked Ales founder Pete Slosberg.

750 ml bottle shared with Tmoney99 and the Nine Giant crew. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have typical sour red/brown character, tart dark fruit and cherries, some caramel sweetness, a little toasted malt on the nose, not overly sour, very drinkable, very enjoyable.

Bomber at Darkness Day. Murky brown pour. Chocolate and cherries, soft sour. A bit flat, but it might just be an open bottle issue.

Dark yet translucent, no foam. Aroma is slight but notes of chocolate cherry cake. Awesome flavor, cherry forward, very tingly and assertive, dries the mouth, bit of funk, woody in the finish. Very solid.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a muddy brown with no head. The aroma is strong cherry skin and oak. Thin mouth with strong oak tannin, cherry skin, nice sourness, very impressive.
