Not iverly boozy aroma if bourbo , charred oak. Mahogany, thin tan head. Charred oak, apple core. Astringent light body. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 13, 2013
hazy amber pour, thin cream head reduces to oily cap. Nose is light maple, honey, light cherry. Flavor is burnt sugar front, bit of chocolate and syrup mid, sugar returns in the finish, really gritty, off-putting sweetness. radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2013
From a growler shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks man! Poured a hazy brown color with a slightly light tan head. Some light, caramel and vanilla notes. Touch of nuttiness to it, with some alcohol. Some light yeasty notes along with the sweetness. Pretty enjoyable. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Thanks, Brad! Nose is pretty heavy on the barrel with some caramel sweetness underneath. Medium body. Barrel heavy but pretty good. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Growler thanks to ygtbsm94. Pours a clear, deep ruby; thin, yellow layer of foam. Nose is sticky maple, grenadine, alcohol, rum. Taste is sticky, Twizzlers, mint. Palate is papery, minty. Much denser than their porter. Should be moved to American Strong Ale.

Growler shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad.
The beer appears chestnut brown with a thin beige cap. The aroma brings a healthy dose of bourbon, malt, vanilla, oak. Very nice. The flavor is quite tasty. Lots of bourbon. Lightly sweet, with a touch of spice. Vanilla and oak throughout. Medium bodied with low carbonation and alcohol content well hidden. Good stuff.
