Red Ale at its finest. Deep red color with a great maltiness makes this a flavorful, easy drinking ale.

Grainy peanut hull, dry aroma. Crystal clear, copper medium head. Drier than expected, grainy and malty. Creamy mouthfeel. Wonderful texture, which isn’t a strength of this brewery, nice example of the style.

The Red River ale was clear light amber. The appearance was perfect. The ale was thin with not much to interest you. It would be a good beer for watching TV and working outside. No lacing and small head. Finish was smooth with modest carbonation.

Definitely one of the best red ales I have ever drank. It is even more pleasing to sit in this fantastic atmosphere. In other words, don’t grab a growler and head for the door.
