3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This bottle was a sample from the brewery, I heard some guy left to go brew somewhere else and then he came back to the fold and he and Russ made this little gem of a DIPA. Poured into snifter deep amber with a yittle bit of orange hanging out, small quarter inch white head. Leaving behind some nice lacing. I have no ABV info but I was told its up there, feels like 9-10%. one qualm I have is that aroma is low, I get a faint hit of pine but no nose to speak of. Mouthfeel medium, carbonation is likewise, very nice on the palate. High level of bitterness and very very piney. Finish is long and dry as well. this reminds me of liberator before it went insanely bitter this year (shit is crazy on the lemon peel) this is just the right amount bitter up in your face without being assualtive. Overall this is my favorite about to be distributed and available right brain brews. Prost!
Extremely aromatic, very bitter, coming form both the overwhelming citrus presence as well as the hop-bomb that detonates in your both. The Second Coming is both symbolic and delicious, can’t wait to get my hand on some more. ICEatALAMO (1350) - Troy, Michigan, USA - APR 24, 2015
Draft at brewery. The pour is a dark vibrant orange. The aroma is fruity hops, very nice. The taste has a consistent hops profile throughout, and it is really good, subtle, then slight bitter in the far back end.

Draft at right brain tap takeover at crunchy's. Hazy brown with a beige head. Dark, sweet hop aromas. Deep, bitter almost sour finish. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Bomber: Aroma has got a nice big floral grapefruit hop note and a very lightly grainy malt texture that almost isn’t noticeable. Appearance is an amber reddish hue with a thick white head that sticks around for a while. Taste is nice a bright with hop notes, fruity, and a very well hidden alcohol note. Palate is medium carbonation with a fruity hop aftertaste that diminishes quickly. Overall, Pretty good stuff. Cheers! superspak (5595) - Michigan, USA - JAN 18, 2014
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/4/2013. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, peach, mango, pineapple, orange/lemon zest, floral, grass, caramel, toffee, bread, pine, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops and balanced malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, orange/lemon zest, orange rind, pine, floral, grass, caramel, toffee, toast, and floral earthiness. Moderate amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange zest, orange rind, pine, floral, grass, caramel, toast, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors; with a balanced malt backbone and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a moderately creamy and lightly slick/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this was a good DIPA. Good complexity of citrus/tropical hops and balanced caramel/bready malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. An enjoyable offering.

On tap at right brain...great floral and citrus aroma... a little more floral on the taste than I prefer, but not bad MrBunn (2826) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Sample at Right Brain. Pour is a hazy orange and aromas are a delightful mix of mango, passion fruit, oranges and so on. Fruity hops are the thing here. Flavor is that with a resiny bite and some honey bun sweetness. Alcoholic warmth drives it home and finishes the beer out. Darn good one and this might be the growler fill that goes home with me. Bomber poured a hazy reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, citrus and light tea. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of caramel, earthiness, tea and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry finish. Wow, what a disappoinment hopdog (12544) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2013
22oz bottle. Poured a cloudy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, and floral. Tastes follow with some earthiness. blackflag321 (689) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Shared bomber, tulip glass. Nice dark orange/amber color with small head. Heavy malt palate and bitter finish. High ABV is very apparent, but well done.
