(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 25 July 2017) Reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, smoky nose with caramel, dark bread, smoke and some tar. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dark bread, sweet malt, bread, raisins and a gentle smoke flavour. Mild bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with a balanced smokiness. Quite nice. jerohen (2321) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - AUG 5, 2017
On draft at Burg Festival 2017. Cloudy brown, almost no head. Faint nose, hint of smoke, sour. Flavor is sour with hint of smoke. Seems like something has gone wrong here. culchiem (4064) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 31, 2017
Draught at Cause Beer loves Food. Nut brown with a short head. Aroma of bacon rauch. Flavour of malt, smoked wood, bacon finish. Good rauch. blariacum (173) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 3, 2017
Tap op Mout festival in Nijmegen. Rauchbier.
Bottle from De Bierkoning, Paleisstraat 125,1012 RK Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hazy dark brown in colour with a thin white head. It has a sweet red fruity and chocolate-malty flavour followed by a smooth smoked beechwood and fruity finish. Good.

Tap at NBPF. Hazy light brown with off white head. Quite some smoke, light caramel, malts, ham, light herbs and flowers. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. I don’t like smoked beers too much but this is fairly decent. sjogro (4455) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2017
