Bottle... Pours clear and dark brown with copper highlights and a tiny, fleeting, off-white head. The aroma features roasted cereal grains and espresso. Full-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is both sweet and roasty, presenting dark chocolate crème and Cuban-roast coffee. Finishes sweet and chocolaty. Bottle courtesy of radarsock! Bottle. Pours dark brown with an off white head. Sweet malty aroma. Slightly syrupy mouth feel with sweet flavors of dark fruits, molasses and chocolate. The hops really work well against the sweet flavors to balance it all out. Really enjoyed this one. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Aroma of coffee and dark fruits. A bit lactic from hops mingling with dark malts. Brown cola appearance, lightish tan head. Nutty flavor, chocolate covered almonds and cashews. Decidedly bitter taste, especially on finish. Reminscent of the black IPA style, only with a lighter, crisp body. Good originak stuff. UPDATED: APR 21, 2013 Tap at lord hobo. Clean brew. Pleasant bright deep roast. Fresh milk chocolate. Balanced nicely by a grapefruit and tropical fruit hop. Nice. radarsock (1198) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 11, 2013
Draft. Lord Hobo. 7:00 pm. Paid $4 for 12 ounces. Score. To tulip it pours a syrupy charcoal dark brown: trim khaki head, one fingernail in length. Aromas of sweet sorghum, blackcurrants, toffee, prunes, and American hops. Tastes the same with the addition of smoke, brine, liquorice sticks, and chocolate. I’d certainly get more.

Bottle from Learys
Dark brown pour with an offwhite head. Aroma is salty chocolate, malted chocolate balls, light salami, very subtle smoke. Light but silky on the tongue. Flavor is smokey molasses, bitter chocolate, slight vegetative quality, finishes dry and roasty. Lingering smokey chocolate. This is a nice schwarz, made better by the fact that it is a tribute to Space Balls. It gives Great helmet.
