Pours deep golden with a large off-white head, which lasts and leaves sheets of lacing. Body has lot’s of tiny bubbled lazy carbonation in it. Aroma fills the room with big citric hoppiness, some floral and pine in there as well, with a bit of toasted bread in there to keep the hop aromas in check. Flavor starts with a hint of grainy maltiness, then the middle and end are all about the hops - citrus flavors abounds, and the bitterness is huge, but never overbearing. Medium in body, the flavors last forever in the mouth, and the hop burps from this brew last for days. Incredibl drinkable for a beer that is this bitter, I could drink this all day and night (in fact, I have) and not get tired of it. IMO, deserving of a perfect score. Lots of floaties are suspended in his tingly, fairly carbonated, medium golden colored ale with a nice rockt white head. Lemony centennials abound in the aroma. This beer is staunchly bitter. Desert dry. Grapefruit and woodeyness assault your palate, riding totally on top of the hoppiness like a surfer on a wave. No one will ever say that this beer has too much caramel or crystal malt. Very vibrant and resonant in its finish. A quality, sessionable IPA. oberabcbbsok (692) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - SEP 18, 2008
Bottle in Antwerp. Shared it with a friend. The smell alone already says that this is a very hopy beer. And the taste is extreme hop bitter. If you do not like bitter beers do not try this one. This is the most bitter beer i tasted so far. Increadibale Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - NOV 8, 2004
Exactly what I want my IPA to taste like. This stuff has all of the good things blending nicely making it a tongue buckleing experience. Full on grapefuit and hops, I’d guess this is a bit higher than the 50 IBU’s advertised. Nice dryness as well. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2007
this beer is great. Cloudy and thick. Hops everywhere. The nose is strong and so is the flavor. I great american IPA. If, I had to say something bad - - - it’s not balanced at all. It’s just hops......which I love

Pours a nice cloudy orangish color with a thick, sticky, frothy, white head. Smells hoppy and flowery. I have never tried an IPA that smelled as flowery as this one. I have never tasted an IPA that was this flowery. And by flowery I mean flowery sweet, I have never tasted flowers so I don’t know what kind of flower it tastes like but it tastes like flowers smell. Nice and sweet, and hoppy. Very good, I like it. Nice and crisp and bitter pn the palate but super flowery sweet at the same time. I could drink this often, but I’m pretty sure it would kill your pallet. WHich means its a good IPA. Thumbs up!

12oz bottle, Thanks to Immy for this one. Pours cloudy amber in color with white head. Aroma citrus hops and sweet. Taste is of grapefruit bitter, hops, hops and hops with bitter grapefruit finish. Outstanding IPA!!!!!!!! BennyTicklez (621) - USA - JUL 11, 2004
A great IPA. Darker than most. Well done with the hops. Does not have that "earthy" flavor to it like some IPAs have. Taste is extremely fresh. The restaraunt sucks, but the beer is great! RooftopRogue (423) - Champaign, Illinois, USA - MAR 11, 2006
Out of a growler--thanks Clark (ClarkVV) This beer offers the sense of smell the fragrance of hops infused with hints of vanilla and wood. It is a golden colored solution with a good sized white head and good lacing. This crisp beer has a sharp bitterness that grabs the tongue and holds on. The strong taste of hops creates a nice bitter taste that lingers well after swallowing. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - APR 24, 2004
Deep golden in color with a small white head. Huge citrus aroma consisting of orange, grapefruit and pine. Toasted malt flavor finishes dry, bitter and very hoppy. Excellent IPA.
