Amber in color with a thin khaki head. Sweet caramel and brown sugar are about the only positives here. Maybe a touch of dark fruit. Otherwise, lots of cardboard. The flavor is fairly oxidized and cardboardy, too. A bit of toasted bread along with the caramel and brown sugar. Faint notes of raisin in the background. A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy mocha head, gushed like a volcano. In aroma, herbaceous caramel malt with wild hops, light iodine notes, OK. Bottle shared by maniac. Thanks! Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Toasty aroma with notes of toffee, booze, apple, peaches and leafy hops. The taste is caramel, toffee, toasted malts, oats, some dusty notes and booze. Bristly mouthfeel, full bodied. Decent beer.

Hazy red brown with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, nuts, wood, dried fruits, some citrus, toast, and toffee. Taste of dried fruits, caramel malts, nuts, toast, and a semi-sweet finish. Thanks Tom!
