COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Over The Edge is not an IPA. We’ve never been to India and neither has this beer. We believe the American Style has changed what an IPA is. More hops, more grain, and more flavor. This is a USPA. Over the Edge takes a great balance of five grains and then ramps it up with West Coast hops that were born in the shadows of the Cascades. We use these Hops in seven different additions to create an adventure from the beginning of the sip all the way to the burp. This beer has a blood orange color and thick white head. The beer starts with great hop aroma and malty sweetness followed by citrus orange full-bodied flavor, finishing with clean piney end and cascade aromas. This beer will not only show you what a USPA is, it will take you Over the Edge!

APPEARANCE- light copper color, light head. NOSE- ligjt scent of fruity hop, leaning tropical. FLAVOR- really well balanced hop flavor andalt backbone. I think I taste some biscuity flavorings. Hop is right on, and the beginning and ending (of the sip) flavors are slightly different and compliment each other well. NOTES- really pleased with his one.

Very reminiscent of an IPA even if it is an American Pale Ale. Nice hop bitterness, malty backbone. Very refreshing beer but nothing special

Pour is a murky orange with a large white head. Aroma is a caramel malt with a pine hop, ho-hum. Flavor is more of the same, although not as sweet as I thought it would be. Some pine hop and a chewy malt follows. About as average as a IPA can be.

Definitely doesn’t smell like an IPA....more like a pilsner....taste also doesn’t scream IPA... wondering if it’s the right thing lol....smooth and light pepper spice that is more like a Belgian white...at Jake’s for clemson Louisville game with Megan and stuart.

Draft at CLT. Rusty orange, sticky sides. Rife with woodsy acidity, like frolicking thru leafs in the fall. Musty and warming. (#6287, 8/25/2016)
