4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresh 16oz can purchased at the brewery 7/5/16. Pours a frothy, off white, two finger head after an aggressive fill. Color is thick, solid orange you can’t see through. Nose is fresh zest and bitter orange rind with some aromatic hops in the background. Taste is sweet up front as you’re hit with some malt, including a touch of wet oats. Then the hops come out sharpest on the finish after the rush of candied mandarin orange. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. The taste follows the nose strongly and overall it’s a great balance of sweet, malty, and bitter flavors. My rating should end there, but if you absolutely need a comparison it’s like a softer Heady Topper blended with Society & Solitude 4 or a slightly less sweet Julius.
Can @ Himmeriget. Pours hazy deep orange with a small white head. Aromas of dank herbal hops, citrus, pineapple, mango. Taste has lots of mango, guava, pineapple, citrus, wet grass. Desverger (13188) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2017

, Copenhagen - fuzzy orange pour with white head. Sweet furity juicy with tons of tropical citrus fruit, tangerine, grapefruit, fruity juicy hoppy finish.
Draft at taproom. Looks like orange juice with an inch of white foam. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Solidly nice tropical fruit and floral notes on the nose and tongue. Hides it’s booze well. Finished dry. Fairly crushable. BuckeyeBoy (8635) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 17, 2017
16oz can thanks to Steve. Pours out a pale hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is big dank hops some fruit notes and plenty citrus juice. Taste is more of the juicy fruit notes a resin pine and some sweetness on the end. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - APR 5, 2017
B grade NEIPA. So many are trying now, Veil is close but not quite, expecially when you try it next to treehouse. A little too sweet and the mouthfeel is too thick for drinkability.

From notes. Enjoyed this at a share at Corbet’s house on October 10. 16 oz can. The pour is a darker golden orange with a thick white head that slowly diminishes. The aroma is thick and juicy citrus up front. There is a nice bitter rind and a hint of leafiness on the back end. It’s just juicy and lovely. There is a hint of alcohol on the back end. The flavor is much of the same. It’s like a dirty orange juice. The juiciness is wonderful. There is a hint of piney resin and bitterness, but it’s well balanced and nicely complex. The mouth feel is light and crisp with an excellent carbonation and a lingeringly bitter juicy finish. This is all of the citra I want and need in a big IPA. weihenweizen (4166) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - OCT 13, 2016

Cans. Thought I’d rated this. Been enjoying it at home. I like all of their beers so far. Huhzubendah (3767) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 23, 2016
Orange body with a small cap. Aromas of dank hops, alcohol, oranges. Sweet, hoppy, caramel notes, alcohol. Full bodied for the style. Low carbonation. Not as drinkable as the Shredder series beers.
