This fine, golden coloured beer has a full flavour that lingers pleasantly on the palate. With a good bitter-sweet balance this beer has a robust hop character described as citrus and spicy. It’s a refreshing and very satisfying pint – noted for the aroma of its Fuggles and dry hopping strain Golding to add to its characteristic Theakston aroma.

Yup, made a tasteless joke about menstruation too, no shame here though. Them’s the breaks.

Sneaky half at Fairlawns, some corporate hotel for people who think they’re rich but clealy aren’t. I quite enjoyed it, served too cold, but oddly appealing. I made a tasteless joke about smelling menstruation. Oh, the shame. Bish?

When served well, surprises you. Basic bitter, very flavourful - simultaneously fruity and medicinal. A surprise bitter/sour twinge on the way down. A taste of history.

Una buona bitter che fa partire bene la serata. Amaro secco classico delle bitter inglesi, che persiste anche minuti dopo averla finita. Spinata in pompa.

On draught at the Angel in Beverley. Orange-amber with a bubbly creamy head. Bitter, tangy with a bit of fruit cake. Smooth and fruity. Fair floral hop aroma.

Light coloured bitter which is well balanced, quite refreshing after two more dark bitters
