A golden amber ale with a thick off white head. A pleasant caramel malt aroma. In mouth, a light bodied ale with nice British hops, however, lacks in body and malt. Light resinous hops do come out later. On tap at JD Wetherspoon, Heathrow, Mid Nov. 2006. 2.69 pounds. CH-303 (2362) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - AUG 8, 2008

(Draught in Douglas on 2008-07-05) Pale amber. Clear. Medium-sized dense white head. Light malty nose. Light to medium palate with some carbonation. Some malts and lightly bitterness in taste. Watery. albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2008
Cask at the Peacock, Nottingham. This is a copper coloured bitter with a very thin, watery consistency. Both the aroma and flavour are dominated by bready, grainy malt without much bitterness. I found it rather boring. FatPhil (17079) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 19, 2008
Cask (Penny Black, Bicester)
Rich brown, sparkler head. Not lacking in subtlety, but alas lacking in sophistication. Punchy raw maltiness, a bit flat and oxidised. Probably old. Should rerate.
