Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white foamy longlasting head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some biscuits, mild fruity and floral notes as well. Flavour is toffee, caramel, mild toasted notes along with some mild fruity and floral notes. The floral notes and caramel/toffee is rather big in the finish with some mild wet burnt wooden notes as well. Actually much better than I expected. Quite rich tongueticking carbonation. cgarvieuk (24465) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 7, 2007

500ml bottle. Interesting to have this now it has split from Scottish and Newcastle. Deep copper colour with thin beige head. Slightly sweaty hop aroma. Red fruits and slightly yeasty. I like the aroma. Some caramel. OK in mouth and then more drying tangy hop. A nice premium bitter

Clear copper-amber color, small off-white head. Nutty metallic nose. Light bodied. Nutty, a bit fruity English hops, caramel and some metal. Quite similar to cask version, perhaps is even a bit better with extra CO2.
500ml bottle (Sainsbury’s)bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 16, 2011
Rich orangy red, tiny head. Sweet caramelly aroma. Sweet caramelly taste and brown nuttiness, slightly astringent hops. In places a bit watery and sweet, other times a bit metallic. Finish is a bit burnt.
Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury. Pours amber with a 3 finger coarsely creamy white head. Aromas of malt and overripe light stone fruit. Med + body. Flavor is malt with some nice fruit bitter. All rather dark, not light, fresh. So it’s not a fast drinker. Drinks well though. imdownthepub (14552) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2006
Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml. Orange amber with carbonated head. Tremendously different to the cask, this is rather a thin, fizzed beer with a strained boiled hop note and a sweetish mid malt body. Lacks depth and subtelty.
