Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white foamy longlasting head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some biscuits, mild fruity and floral notes as well. Flavour is toffee, caramel, mild toasted notes along with some mild fruity and floral notes. The floral notes and caramel/toffee is rather big in the finish with some mild wet burnt wooden notes as well. Actually much better than I expected. Rich orangy red, tiny head. Sweet caramelly aroma. Sweet caramelly taste and brown nuttiness, slightly astringent hops. In places a bit watery and sweet, other times a bit metallic. Finish is a bit burnt.
Bottle from the Cromwell Road Sainsbury. Pours amber with a 3 finger coarsely creamy white head. Aromas of malt and overripe light stone fruit. Med + body. Flavor is malt with some nice fruit bitter. All rather dark, not light, fresh. So it’s not a fast drinker. Drinks well though. Borup (15943) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 22, 2009
