It is a typical Victorian Pale Ale with an auburn-yellow colour and a persistent froth. Full-bodied distinguished by the fruity scent of its superior fermented yeast. As tradition has it the Theresianer Pale Ale is well balanced and ideal with fresh and persistent flavours.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep golden color with thin creamy off-white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild caramel, fruits, grassy hops and honey. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, follows by fruity acidity with sweet honey note and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad at all...

330ml bottle from Gustos restaurant Heswall. Clear dark golden colour with a white head. Malty aroma with slight grassy hops. Taste starts apricot and marmalade with bitter finish. Not as hoppy as an American style pale ale. Nice and subtle.

330ml bottle served in a Duvel tulip glass. A: Pours a dark orange color forming a solid creamy yellow head. Clear. Good retention and lots of spotty lacings left in the glass. A very thin layer remains for long time on the top S: Sweet, grainy and fruity. Strong notes of caramel and crystal malts. Quite fruity too with notes of orange and peaches. Nice touch of flowery hops and some spices like vanilla and nuts T: Sweet upfront. An authentic ale. Again, a very malty and fruity beer. Notes of spices and nuts. Caramel and crystal malts, sweet bread, vanilla followed by a mild hoppy bitter end M: Medium bodied and medium carbonated beer. Sweet, malty and fruity aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Very underrated beer. Quite smooth and easydrinking [ BA Review @ 10/30/2013 ]

CanCrusher (1061) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle 0,33L. Clear, dark golden colour with average, creamy, off-white head. Toasted malty aroma with grassy hops, biscuits, honey and vanilla. Taste starts light acidic, apricot marmelade like and finish light acidic/medium bitter. Medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink, but less acidity would make it better, I think.

Fruktig og fin aroma, men den blir for sukkersøt i munnen. Ellers god. (Jomfruland, 09.08.14)

Bottle from Bottle Bank, Falmouth, Cornwall. Clear gold with a healthy close to white head. Aroma is quite mild, some sweet caramel, high malt flavours, marzipan, some fruit. flavour has peach, more malts, medium sweetness. I quite enjoyed this. A little thin but refreshing. Doesnt taste like an English pale though but who cares...

0.33 bottle. Pours deep clear gold with medium soft head. Faint aroma of grassy hops and cardboard. Sweet and malty taste, honey and flowers. Cooked apples in the aftertaste. Too much carbonation for the style. Better than other lagers, but far from a real ale.
