COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a typical Victorian Pale Ale with an auburn-yellow colour and a persistent froth. Full-bodied distinguished by the fruity scent of its superior fermented yeast. As tradition has it the Theresianer Pale Ale is well balanced and ideal with fresh and persistent flavours.

Rune (14059) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2011
330ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo. Dark golden body with a low, bubbly head. Sweet fruity nose with hints of lactose. Taste of half-dried, sweet fruits. Short fruity ending. Lack of hops. Beyond par for the style (shared with Finn, Tromsø 29.06.2011).

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet Vika. Spandert av Rune og delt under seanse hos ham 29 Jun 11. Gylden. OK skum som datt sammen. Brukbar fruktig aroma. Veldig søt plommesmak. Bare søt. KI=4

Gurthnar (6298) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle. Aroma caramel, nuts, chocolate, rather minor hops. Taste almost medium bitter, light to meidum sweet. Initial impression is even more sweet than bitter. Golden to orange colour, medium offwhite head, very quickly disappearing. A bit metallic and watery towards the finish. Almost average.

KnutAlbert (6815) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 30, 2011
Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Looks like an amber lager. Some dirty hops in the nose, but not much. Sweet, sugary body, too much white sugar. Not working as a pale ale.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2016 I wouldn?t call it Ale, this beer is more like a lager. Yeast aroma, taste of a common lager on steroids, stays on a tongue 3 sec. Name is pretty misleading. No head, very clear.

Amber color, light weak sweet aroma, light sweet caramel taste, light body, watery finish.

Bov (13456) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 20, 2003
bright gold-amber colour, fine persistent head, fruity and fat flowery hoppiness, oily and soapy mouthfeel with a faint finishing bitterness - a little bit disgusting and not convincing at all

ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 18, 2004
33 cl bottle. Nice amber color. quickly dissipating head. No hops in the nose. Thin body with rather high carbonation. sweet taste. Almost lager like. No aftertaste, almost no bitterness. Thin mouthfeel

Cunningham (8578) - Halden, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2012
Golden colour with a white head. Sweet malty aroma. Grassy, hay and sweet malt in the flavour. Combined with some alcohol coming through as well. Hmmm Pale ale? More a sweet blond bock beer.
[Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Fredrikstad, Norway]

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 Old rating, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Fruktig lukt med preg av malt, humle, tørka frukt, karamell og gras. Sødmerik smak med preg av malt, humle, sukker og gras. Metallisk. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Kjedelig.
