This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The color is amber and it has a fine though disappearing head. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel. An OK beer.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber, fine stable head. Very aromatic from the hops, quite sweet without much carbonation. Sweetish with a good body. Almost candy... 020404

Bottled. Amber coloured. Neutral aroma. Sweet, rounded and malty. Mild and pleasant, but not an awful lot of character.

Light amber color. Some caramel aroma and taste, but rather poor. Another boring one.
