COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

Clear copper pour, with a small white head. Sweet, cheap, bready malt aroma, with the slightest hint of hops and some wet paper. The finish is sweet and slightly fruity, with some fusel Alcohols, cooked veggies, and sweet corn. An Italian macro lager.

thegreenrooster (4402) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Pour is a clear amber with a sweetish caramel malt aroma. Flavor is a dark bready, light caramel malt. Finish is watery but some malt lingers. Not an over exciting beer but also nothing really bad about it.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle from an Italian restaurant. Pours a clear amber color with a fairly thick off-white head on it. Nose is actually pretty nutty to me, and was a little inviting. Taste was slightly toasty, but not overly flavorful. Decent drink, but pretty forgettable.

Grovlam (4247) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2008
Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Huge beige and creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear golden colour. Aroma of dusty grain, caramel, yeast and fruit. Over the palate came sweet fruit and roasted malt and nutty notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour with mild bitterness. Sweet nutty like finish.

11.2oz bottle 10/7/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear lighter amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with a bit of a sourness on the back end. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad except for the sourness.

Bottle from local Yamaya store. Nose of light roast malt, caramel, and light brown sugar. Clear medium copper color. Sweet malt, bready, a touch of sourish fruity tang in mid palate, and it finishes lightly sweet and then fades fairly quickly. Thin-medium body. Easy, simple, caramelly.
