COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic auburn-red lager descends directly from the first "Vienna" produced in Trieste at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It maintains its smooth, fresh, simple taste together with a cleverly weighted flavour of malt and hops. Because of the simplicity and balance of its aroma this light red beer is perfect with all kind of food.

SHIG (4965) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 28, 2009
Bottle: Poured a copper clear color. Head was off white and creamy. Aroma is a mix of malt and metallic hops. Taste is metal at first with a slow fade to malt.

Bottle, at DBF (030511). Reddish with a white head. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet. Light to medium body, soft carbonated.

Palme (4856) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2011
0.33l bottle. Pours a clear orange body with a small off-white sidesticking head. Aroma is mildly dark malty, some light hops, thin caramel and some brown sugar. Has a watery mouthfeeling and is softly carbonated. Mild caramel flavors with some dark malts some notes of licorice. Unfortunately it has a slightly unpleasant metallic aftertaste. One of the weakest from Theresianer if you ask me.

Clear copper pour, with a small white head. Sweet, cheap, bready malt aroma, with the slightest hint of hops and some wet paper. The finish is sweet and slightly fruity, with some fusel Alcohols, cooked veggies, and sweet corn. An Italian macro lager.

OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2011
0.33 L bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Coarse white head with fish-eyes. Body is brilliant, light orangey-brown. Aroma of light bready and caramelly malts, with a light sourish smell. Well prononced earthy and grassy hops, as well. Sourish-sweet, toasted malt flavor. Caramel and bread tones, and a suitable grassy bitterness. Mid-bodied. Sourish-sweet peppery caramel ending. A pretty good Vienna.

Geiserich (4659) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 21, 2009
Bottle: Red, amber color, white creamy head, quickly diminishing. Sweet aroma, malt and toffee notes, molasse. Flavor is malty, caramel, toffee. Metalic hops in the end. Bitter, light herbal finish. Pleasant brew.

thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Pour is a clear amber with a sweetish caramel malt aroma. Flavor is a dark bready, light caramel malt. Finish is watery but some malt lingers. Not an over exciting beer but also nothing really bad about it.

maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle from an Italian restaurant. Pours a clear amber color with a fairly thick off-white head on it. Nose is actually pretty nutty to me, and was a little inviting. Taste was slightly toasty, but not overly flavorful. Decent drink, but pretty forgettable.

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2008
Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Huge beige and creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear golden colour. Aroma of dusty grain, caramel, yeast and fruit. Over the palate came sweet fruit and roasted malt and nutty notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour with mild bitterness. Sweet nutty like finish.

Redish brown with a medium foam. Roasted with some smoky tones. Caramel, malt and some friut. Medium to light body with a sweet finish.
