hazy red-amber colour, the initial foam disappears very fast, fruity and bready aroma, sweet and fresh with a moderate malty and slightly fruity finish - well-balanced and charming but could afford a little bit more character Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2007
Beautfully-labelled bottle, bought in Switzerland. Amber colour, medium-szed bubbly head. Fruity, caramelly and slightly hoppy flavours. Hints of roasted malt, very slightly smoky. Malty finish. BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2008
[Sampled in 2005.] Nice brew of vienna-stylle with some freshness and sourness in its flavor Geiserich (4496) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 21, 2009
Bottle: Red, amber color, white creamy head, quickly diminishing. Sweet aroma, malt and toffee notes, molasse. Flavor is malty, caramel, toffee. Metalic hops in the end. Bitter, light herbal finish. Pleasant brew. larsga (7509) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2011
Medium beige head. Reddish amber body with strong carbonation.
Sugary earthy caramelly aroma with cinnamon notes. Dry-sweet
earthy caramelly buttery taste with cinnamon notes. Soft, mild
mouthfeel, very faintly slick. Mid-to-full body. Good dry/sweet
balance. Dryish earthy spicy caramelly aftertaste with floral
bready notes. Very nice. Highly drinkable and full of flavour.

Bottle, 5.3%. Weak caramelly aroma, hint of paper. Hazy red copper colour. The flavour is sweetish with a little spicy hop note, hint of yeast in the finish. Metalchopz (3364) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2014
Enjoyed in a bottle at Pub Italia. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a creamy warm cap, average retention and no lace. Big bread nose at first pour, then fruity malts appear. Fruity malts with caramel and a short finish. Wet mouthfeel but gets tarty, lingering. Surprisingly good looking for an Italian Vienna and well-brewed overall. Bottle 0,33L. Clear amber colour with frothy, light brown head. Nice aroma of caramel, brown sugar, roasted malts and butter. Start taste is moderate bitter with caramel note. Finish is also moderate bitter with orange peel taste on the tongue. Light to medium body, watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good caramely Italian vienner... eduardovl (1429) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass.
A: Pours an absolutely clear copper color forming a medium creamy and thin bubbled beige head. Medium retention and quite a lot of spotty, lingering and a bit soapy lacings formed and left around the glass
S: Sweet caramel and crystal malts in the nose. Very earthy. I like it. Flowery hops in the end
T: Sweet caramel in the upfront. Notes of caramel and crystal malts. Evident bready and very earthy low fermentation yeasts. Malty and crispy and very smooth and easy drinking. Mild hoppy bitterness that fits to the style
M: Light and bit molasses body. Medium carbonation. Malt and caramel in the aftertaste
O: Smooth and easy drinking beer. Simple and very honest. Much better than the italian macro breweries’ offers
