Koelschtrinker (21515) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 6, 2011
Süßlich-malziger, angenehm milder Geruch. Test vom 11.4.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,11,12,13,-,12 - 12,10

Draught at the brauhaus
The color is almost black, with compact head. Aroma of dark malts, mild, and buttery. Soft mouthfeel, nice dark caramel flavor supported by light sweetness, the butter is not evident anymore, but it lacks of bitterness.
Pleasant, but simple.

Dark nut brown color, big off-white cloud head. Aroma has coffee beans and dark malts. Caramel, coffee beans and chocolate in the flavor. Crisp and smooth, but quite light palate. Short sweetish aftertaste. Nice one.

Bov (13264) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 12, 2016
[email protected] - almost black beer with a firm creamy dark beige head; aroma of butter and walnuts; thin-bodied, creamy palate, low carbonation, some sweetness and no bitterness; some more buttery tones in a shy malty toasted and chocolaty finish - gentle

KyotoLefty (10695) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 23, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Interesting, decent dunkel. Has a sour tinge. Quite fruity, with chocolate and a bit of coffee. It’s a little sweet, but not as sweet as most dunkels. It’s more sour than it is bitter, though. Not a lot of hops. Enjoyable.
