Soapy butterscotch aroma. Quite cloudy, small head that stays for a long time. Very light butterscotch in the flavor. Creamy, not too crisp. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 2, 2012
.5l in mug at the brewpub. Arrived with 2 fingers of off-white head over a hazy golden beer. The head had very good retention and left the mug fairly well coated with lacing. There appears to be lots of carbonation.
Has an attractive, yeasty and bready aroma, with (Noble?) hops. The flavor is almost exactly what the nose suggests, although a tad more hoppy. But this brew does not have the hoppy character of a typical pilsner. (After reviewing, I find it is a Marzen).
M: smooth; light/medium body; medium-high carbonation.
O: the long-lasting, bready aftertaste may be the strong point of this beer Mariusz (12300) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2012
Amber clour , medium-size head. Fruity and flowery aroma. Malty and sweet, full-bodied with a pleasantly and resiny hoppy finish. Fin (11047) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2012
Had this at a Theresien Brewpub, Innsbruck 30.05.12 Pours light amber in colour some haze and a slim white head. Little fruity with a slight sour tang (nice) This seems to be the flagship beer and it is certainly offering more and is better than the Spezial in my opinion. Lihht bitterness and the fruitiness returns, good.

Off the tap at Theresienbrau in Innsbruck. Hazy amber pour, small white head, beautiful beer. Festival beer, could drink this one all day. Full body, but light taste. Pretty good!

A mild brew that gets into EPL terrortorry. It isn’t that great considering it is a small brewpub.

Sample slightly beyond BBd Slight gushing to firm, fine-bubbled yellow head. Yeast fully in suspension in mossy-sheened orange beer. Rather sourish nose, alternative grains, wholemeal, rice, faint citrus or apple. Again combination of just a little sourish taint, citrussy and other grains - weird for a Märzen, but it would make for a very good wheat/spelt/rye... Very carbonated, lightening a maybe medium body. Sourish notes become stronger in time. No doubt better on draught, but not bad. Many thanks to deanso! deanso (10261) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - SEP 23, 2010
