2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear pale gold with a white cap. Aromas of fresh hops, orange slices, grains. Crisp mouthfeel with apparent carbonation. Easy drinking as it should be. Big bitter smack at each sip. I was not expecting that. Bitter, peppery, sweetness is short and fleeting. This was not the refreshing drink I was expecting it to be. This had some harshness to it, that I don’t think belongs in this light simple style. When I want some bitterness, I’ll reach for a IPA or hoppy PA. With a Blonde, I expect sweet flavors, light crisp feel, and an ease of drinkability. This was not that. Not my cup of tea. Pass.
Cheesy hops, off tangerine, spritzer type mf. Carbonation high, big pillowly white head. Very low malt profile, crispy corn if anything. Bland body. Watered down oberon. Very hazy. Acidic bite.

lack of flavor, bitter without taste and identity.
Less bitter wold be better since it would turn in to a litte beer; however being too bitter with a total lack of flavor is just... a “taky” beer

I’m actually kinda surprised how low this rates. Sure I’m probably not going to turn back to this Pale Ale and there are better pale ales, but the malt flavors going on in this beer are rich and complex. The hop could use to be more present and defined, but there are some nice things going on with the malts. Niko100 (3012) - Chicago, New York, USA - DEC 14, 2016

330ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga). Straight from the bottle, while waiting a tram. Pale straw yellow color (sacrifice to Cthulu). Malty, sweet, grassy hops in aroma. Very malty, bit nutty, sweet and caramel in taste. Sweet malts and caramel in aftertaste. It’s hot outside and this beer is warm. Warm and fizzy. And too sweet.
