Very roasted malt backbone - very dry and nutty. Somewhat sour and watery. bhensonb (16238) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 27, 2007
Nitrogen powered at the brewpub. Aroma is something dusty over dark toasted malt. Opaque dark color with a very dark tan head. Full bodied with very smooth nitrogenation. The flavor is mild, smooth, toasted malt. Not at all harsh. The finish is more burnt toast than bitter. Coffee and chocolate were very low key.
