On tap at 3rd Street poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness, light earthiness and a hint of pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, fruittiness, light earthines and a hint of pine with a crisp dry lingering moderatly bitter finish. Cask. Star bright warm brown, dense low sparkler head. Earthy, resinous nose; subtler toffee and cola follows. Flavor of loam, salt, malt, and a hint of roast. Crisp mineral/bitter finish, but a little thin and dry.
