The scent of hops, herbal notes, wheat, saison, and funk are felt upon the nose. The body has a surprisingly large character of hops. A reasonable amount of carbonation accompanies the hoppy and saison complexion. Farmhouse yeast provides a nice funk from beginning to end after you get used to the hops. An alcohol presence of 4.5% is overwhelmed by the ingredients of the beer.
Saison offers the familiar tone to a dry hopped ale. Wheat adds another flavor to the saison body. Lemon brings a light bite to the mouthfeel. The lemon is crisper when you get to the bottom of the bottle. Banana gives the beverage some weight and compliments the farmhouse yeast used.
Clove plays upon your tongue and spices the take. The spice bleeds into the watery, dry finish. Thyme is experienced in the finish as well. Sage is comprehended with the watery take.
The water quality is exceptional. The water captures the flavors of the herbs used. The funk blends beautifully with the water. The finish is watery despite the dryness felt.

Poured cloudy yellow color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate herbs, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium spice sweet flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate duration

750 ml bottle from Mr. B’s Wine & Spirits on sale for $6.99 (probably not too fresh). Hazy, deep, golden to yellow appearance with a fluffy white head and light lacing. Aroma of toasted grain, bread, light yeast, mild hops, light peppery spice and hints of citrus zest. Similar flavor, adding moderate hop bitterness balanced by light grainy sweetness. Hazy golden amber pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. Huge skunky aroma that slowly gives way to a nice malt note. Hard to get past the skunk though. Big chewy malt flavor. Bitter.
