Sampled draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Lightly hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Nose is huge on barn, lots of white pepper, wild herbs, almost funky, touch EU hops,… Taste is spices, barn, rustic, white pepper, slightly fruity with some spices, hay, tangy yeast and light citrus. Smooth, slightly oily, very easy to drink. Another beer which I tought was very good but has very low rating eh whatever.

Dobre swieze i ekologiczne piwo. O przyjemnym swiezym aromatem. Chmiel aromatyczny. W smaku delikatne a zarazem wyraziscie swiezo chmielowe, slodowe ale nie slodkie. Bojna i spora biala piana. Zlociste ale metne i to porzadnie. Delikatne i latwe w konsumpcji piwo Bio.

brekeriet (139) - SWEDEN - FEB 11, 2011
Bottle 330ml. Fruity, estery, spicy, perfume like aroma. Nicely hazy, nice bubbling from CO2, the head is quite quickly diminishing. Very good balance in taste, nice bitterness. Very nice and oily palate. Overall a very nice beer.

bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2017
33cl bb08/2018, Miorge. - bref: the supreme missing terroir link between Saison Dupont and a Grünhopfenpils, fresh like chlorophyll with a saison dryness, dry and crisp like a Bavarian pils. Floral, green pays de Flandre pasture in aroma, minty sweet. Great dry mouthfeel, a tad less carbonated than Dupont, either some cereals and white pepper, even that dandelion milk "rubber" touch but less hay. Profoundly earthy in its hop profile. Magnificent in its simplicity.

Arek (1122) - Zielona Góra & Wrocław, POLAND - SEP 19, 2014
Bottle 0,33 l, Piwnica, Wrocław, Poland. Bursztynowe, mętnawe piwo z obfitą pianą i świeżym, cytrusowym aromatem. W smaku orzeźwiające, słodowe, lekko ziemiste i chlebowe z bardzo łagodną, cierpką goryczką na finiszu.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 21, 2010
Bottle from Paris. Huge fluffy head over orange beer. Peachy aroma. Fruity, quite sweet, just a little hint of stable. Very pleasant mouth feel. Some sourness mixed in, too. Very drinkable. Bitter and quite complex finish, leaves you wanting more than a 33 cl bottle. Deserves wider distribution.

750ml bottle (Alvinne Webshop, Belgium)
7 Lovely light refreshing floral aroma, slight fruitiness, apples.
4 Slightly hazu straw colour, huge rocky then persistent and self-supporting fluffy head. Initially poured both glasses as clear as possible, but added the non-chunky yeast to one glass later in order to compare.
7 Light grainy and slightly appley retronasals. Uplifting and refreshing. Lightly fruitiness to the body, white grape, but a lovely light bready graininess. With more yeast, it’s mellower, but not any less in flavour, it brings out the light breadiness.
4 Refreshing palate, lively carbonation. Finish mostly follows the taste, but has a lovely gentle noble hopping to it, a touch of white pepper that lasts for ages. With more yeast, the finish seems enhanced.
15 It’s rare to get such a non-big beer be so worthy. Everything you’d want in such a beer is there in sufficient quantities, and they all help to reinforce each other rather than fighting against each other. Super blond ale. Don’t pour the crap in, but don’t be afraid of the light yeast that doesn’t mind hanging in suspension.

ekstedt (6746) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2011
From a bottle at GBF 2011. Clear golden, medium white head. Fruity and spicy aroma. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Fairly dry, medium bitterness.

rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2012
Aroma: Smelling fresh fruits, rhubarbs, lemon, some mineral notes.
Appearance: The beer is deep brass colored, starting clear but with much sediments fogging it. A white fizzy head that settles leaving little lacing, some curtains.
Taste: Starting sweet and fruity, lemon, bitter orange, grape tonic, an alkaloid bitter finish.
Palate: High carbonation, rather smooth and refreshing initially then a coarse dry finish. Small body.
Overall: Lack some body, and has a bit too mineral/alkaloid notes. But not a bad beer in all.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-08-05.
