Skinnyviking (9111) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 5, 2011
Bottle. High fluffy off-white long lasting head. Very dark, almost black, red brown body. Unexpected heavy aroma of cinnamon, apart from that cocoa raisin and I guess orange peel. Very sweet and sugary cinnamon dominated flavor with little hops bitterness and a caramel plum raisin flavor. Low carbonation, long sweet afteratee. No my idea of a porter. Maybe that is the choice of the rater.

Opaque black beer - tan head. Soft silky beer. Tastes like a sourish porter made with ginger. Needs to be cold this one but goes down easy.

yngwie (16613) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2010
Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of KimJohansen and Papsoe. A hazy, mahogany beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head. The aroma has some myrica-like notes, guess its at least something similar to that. Theres some roasted malts too. The flavor has a good dash of coffee, with the same herbal thing found in the aroma. Full-bodied and quite effervescent, a good bitterness finishes the whole thing. Nice! 100814
