Bottle (330 ml). Best before 06/2013. Extra from Yannick, thanks! Dark brown with a small beige head and little lacing. Aroma of dark fruits and light roasted malt along with light chocolate nose... mild, but not offensive. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet and about the same as aroma with an oak touch. Light body, a tad watery. Low to moderate carbonation. Not very complex, but not bad. Interesting fruitiness. Reminds me of a "poor man" Zwet.Be.

MrHangover (4439) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours a thin dark brown beer with a big beige head on top. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts. Flavour has a lot of coffee influences, as well as some sweet notes. Very carbonated mouthfeel, short finish and quite watery texture.

DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2013
330ml from Beer Gonzo. Ruby-edged mahogany with a firm cream head. Nose of rust, coal smoke, grilled vegetables and redcurrant. The rust wins. Good, finely burnt taste with souring berry and bramble undercurrents reminiscent of an English stout. Hints of well-roasted nut and black cherry over that prevailing tang of dark berries and blackcurrant. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good.

berntholer (1615) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JUN 2, 2013
beige mocha head disappears quickly with some lacing. coffee-cola colour. aroma of toasted, smoked malt, liquorice and mint (?!). taste is malt, liquorice and mint with a short liquorice aftertaste. thin mouthfeel, thin body, quite a lot of carbonation. bottle 33 cl / lot 359 / best before 10-2014

johndoughty (5398) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2013
Bottle, Black with a medium head. Malty with a medium body which reminded me of a cross between a stout and a brown ale. Different and worth trying.

Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - FEB 17, 2013
33cl bottle. Dark brown with medium, lightly tanned head. Nose : cheese, yeast, smoke, black chocolate. Nuts. Sip : medium thick and creamy, low carbonation. Moderately sweet start collapses under delicate smoky flavour of black chocolate, clove and cooked fruits that develops a gentile dry ending. It’s a nice porter if one enjoys smoked, torrified malts and dry finish. OK.
