[1/30/17] Draught at Thirsty Bear in San Francisco. Hazy golden. Fruity hops and a bit of butter aroma. Flavor has a sweetish butter hint, and bitter fruity hops.

Sampled at GABF 2015. In the sample glass golden orange with a white head. Nose of citrus and pine. Medium body and resinous mouth feel. Flavor is solid citrus and pine and the finish is earth and bitter. Quite solid and good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft citrus on the nose, malt, crisp grapefruit. Medium-bodied, soft malt, a good amount of earthy bitterness right away, a touch of sweaty hops, green. Earthy citrus into the finish, bitterness, malt, crisp and easy.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is decent floral citrus hop, caramel, fruity strawberry. Flavour is composed of solid base malts, biscuit and light caramel, citrus hop, zesty, firm citrus Hoo bitterness. Hint of pine. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Lingering spicy slightly dirty hop. Bog standard IPA.
