Tap. Dark, a little bit mahogany around the edges. Roasty, coffee...it’s almost exactly like the 21st amendment 563 stout that I had last night. Good mouthfeel. orville (160) - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 12, 2006
Served on tap in a english pint at the brewpub. Very enjoyable Guinness clone. One to drink over and over. The look is nice and the flavor is very smooth and milky. There’s a bitter blur in the finish. Head stays. If you like Guiness and Murphys you’ll like this. rmussman (1701) - California, USA - APR 10, 2008
Sampled at the brew pub. Pour was very dark and aroma was rich with roasted scents. Head is pretty thick thanks to the nitro. Overall flavor and texture is very smooth with a dry finish and a nice aftertaste. Very full bodied.

On tap at the brewpub. Black with a nice, creamy, light brown head. Chocolate and roast, the latter more pronounced in the mouth. Good balance. Nice one. bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - MAY 5, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Jet black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee with roasted malts. Flavor is the same. Very creamy mouthfeel. Overall not a very complex stout but still good. thetmaxx (927) - West Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 6, 2012
On tap at thirsty bear, thanks to bnoel09 for sharing! Poured with a beautiful nitro head. Flavor has good chocolate and roasted notes, was a good dry stout. laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 23, 2012

Aroma is roasted with coffee and licorice, Flavour has coffee, slightly salty licorice, hints of peat and ash. A bit watery but good. Best of their draught stuff at that time.
Deep black pour. The nose is full of molasses and cocoa. Light chocolatey character with a touch of acidity and a bit of light roast. Simple brew but a well-constructed dry stout.
