COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A seasonal ale produced with an older style of hops re-christened as "Ivanhoe".

Old 58 is a strong, golden ale hopped only w local Ivanhoe hops, not grown since NorCal was hop country. Organic.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Tropical fruit and light earthy aroma. Malt and tropical fruit flavor with some orange. Medium bodied. orange and tropical fruit lingers with sweet malt.

Part of a tasting tray sampler at the brewpub. Pale clear golden yellow. Aroma is of grains with muted grassy noes, slightly sweaty (dirty lines?). Palate is grainy and slighly swet, with a little grassy hop characte. Pretty low-key really.
