Draft. A light golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw as well as a light note of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl and straw as well as lighter notes of sulphur.

On tap @ the pub. Golden blond, no head. Aroma is malty but no hop presence. Flavor is malt, citrus. Refreshing for summer time.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear golden body and a huge white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, toasty, lightly herbal and bready. Taste is bitter, light diacetyl, grassy, thin with a lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is dry and thin with an abrupt finish.

This is the beer that my future wife had while we were on vacation in San Francisco and stopped by the Thirsty Bear. For a Pilsner, which I’m not really a fan of lagered beers, it was very good. Aroma is of light malt with light citrus notes, not something I typically associate with the Pilsner style. Appearance is cloudy golden with a decent head. Taste is very crisp, somewhat pronounced orange and lemon in the aftertaste, not bad at all.

Pale golden straw pour. The nose is soft and quite hoppy. Lots of light lemony Saaz hops. Fresh and dry with an assertive hop bitterness. A bit of grassy straw flavour and some light pale malt character. Surprisingly assertive pils, actually.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy golden hue with a large white head. The aroma is sweet malts and bitter hops. A rich lemony hop biter with sweeter biscuit. Pretty nice.

Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2010
Sampled at Thirsty Bear. Light soft hops aroma, with neutral fruity notes and some mild pils malt sweetness. Beany. Golden clear body with thin white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. Starts with medium hops bite, light pilsner malt sweetness and some carbonic fizzy acidity. A little dull to be considered crisp, but is fairly refreshing. Finish is floral bitter hops, on the harsh side, with lasting bitter chalky character on the tongue. Muted bitter beany after.

on tap-pours a retaining tight white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is mild lemon, grain. Taste is orange zest/spice hops, light malt/grain. Some lemon at finish.

Tasting tray sample at the brewpub. Pale golden with a sticky white head. Not the most pleasant aroma-- sweaty, wet hair, grains. I suspect the lines ned clening. Flavours are decent pale malt with low leafy hop biterness.
