Beer is clear, light caramel with a small, beige, frothy, mostly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with moderate notes of toasted grain, toasted wheat bread crust, trace of caramel; Hoppy with a light note of herbal citrus zest.
The flavor is moderately sweet, light/moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, light/moderately bitter, lightly sweet finish.
The body is light/medium, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Simple, clean and enjoyable. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JUN 2, 2007
Light later nose with a hint of lemon, yellow color, no head. Faint citrusy note in the body. Thin. OK, but no so exciting. Clear, clean lager. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 5, 2007
(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Clean, fresh nose with a floral hoppiness. Medium body with a clean and lightly sweet malt base before a dry and floral hoppiness sets in. A very decent Pils. 240307 jgb9348 (6281) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 21, 2007
Clear golden coloured body with a strong lemony aroma. Very mild taste, along with malty and a light hop flavour throughout. The finish is very smooth and subtle and remains mild. A very simple beer - done to the style, but not such a great offering. I sampled this beer on draught at the brewpub on 28-February-2007. irishsnake (355) - Oakland, California, USA - NOV 21, 2006
pint comes a bright, suprisingly deep, amber, with a nice white head that retains well and leaves good lace. herbaceous nose, with deep woody notes, hangs heavy over a toasty maltiness, with a light nuttiness. super tasty pils starts clean and malty, with again a bit more character (toasted) than standard pils maltiness. hops balance nicely, with cleanly spiced flavors mixing in with a good solid kick of bittering. really outstanding, with a nice, crisp kick.
gorgeous take on a pilsner, though perhaps a bit a-typical in its malt character - but who cares? it’s an awesome drinking beer. a pils made w/pale ale malt?

On tap @ Thirsty Bear poured a clear gold with a white head. Aromas of bread, honey and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread , straw, citrus and a hint of apple with a crisp bittersweet finish. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 5, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Rich gold with a white head. Very little head retention. Npo aroma. Grainy flavor. Slightly lemony. Crisp finish. A small hop flavor bites you at the end. Oakes (17699) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 21, 2006
Golden colour. Hardly any aroma. Crisp hoppiness and light malts on the palate with a fair amount of earthy continental hop notes. Serviceable if a bit bland. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden. Dryish with dense, clean mouthfeel. A fair amount of grainy malt combined with some grassy, spicy hops and a lingering salty bitterness makes this a decent pilsener. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 29, 2005
On tap, at the brewpub. Medium yellow, big bubbly white head. Very mild aroma, where I might be able to sniff a few faint pils type hops. Good hop characteristic however is taste - nice pils like taste. Light malt, light mouthfeel all come together - a good pils. Just put some aroma in to boost the rating!
